The Department is equipped with two angiographic complexes Innova 4100 and Innova 3131IQ, produced by GE Medical Systems (France), anaesthesia-respiratory apparatus and other equipment for performing a significant range of high-tech X-ray endovascular interventions, including tachy- and bradyarrhythmias.
The objective of the Department is to perform angiographic studies in various vascular pools, as well as X-ray and endovascular surgery on the coronary, peripheral, visceral arteries, endocardial implantation of cardiac pacemakers, cardioverter defibrillators, cardioresynchronizing devices, implantation of event monitors, performing of electrophysiological studies and radiofrequency ablation in tachyarrhythmias.
The X-ray and Endovascular Surgery Department is the base for scientific research, clinical trials of consumables and pharmacological preparations, including ones in accordance with international standards GCP.
It is possible to perform diagnostic intervention on the day of admission ("one day surgery"). For the intervention, materials from leading world manufacturers Terumo, Cordis, Medtronic, Invatec, Abbott and others are used.
